Donna is an author of books and articles for children. She loves to take bits and pieces of this and that—opinions, ideas, feelings, things she has overheard or seen—and put them together in a new way to create a story. For her, launching herself into the unknown through writing is great fun.

A favorite quote of Donna’s is from the author Kurt Vonnegut: “Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow . . . You will get an enormous reward. You have created something.”
